Mr. Andrew D. McLindon has served since 1989 as President and Chief Executive Officer of Mainspring Companies, LLC, a management firm that oversees operations for the following companies:
MODUS, e-commerce industrial construction.
MBD Automation, automation mechanical installers.
MBD Maintenance, commercial building maintenance.
MBD Construction, general construction
Genlease, general equipment leasing
McLindon Development Group, real estate development.
Propel Production Studio, video/audio production
Mr. McLindon has been a Director of Business First Bank and Business First Bankshares, Inc. since April 2006 and May 2012 respectively.
Mr. McLindon earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Louisiana State University.
Mr. Hayman has 25 years of civil design and construction experience along with project management oversight with a wide variety of government, private, and public works projects in both domestic and international areas.
In the past has worked oversees with USACE, the Afghan National Army, the Afghan Engineering District and local firms to provide civil design, cost estimating and ballistics for live-fire training ranges and complexes.
In addition, Chip has prepared and field located utility as-builts for NAVFAC in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as well as several other U.S. bases.
Currently he is working with Amazon Start-Up and various E-Commerce warehouse construction throughout the U.S. & abroad.
Director of Field Operations
As Director of Field Operations, Jeff has 30 years of construction and maintenance experience. Because of his experience working in the field and project management, Jeff provides the leadership needed to complete projects on time and in budget. Jeff is an excellent communicator and is known for the seamless workflow scheduling on his construction projects. He has contributed to much of the success and quality in which Modus operates.

As Director of Inventory, Mr. O’Neill is an indispensable part of the company and its operations. Jimmy tends to the finer details that allow us to operate at such a high frequency. Inventory organization, precision and deliberation are a small sampling of the attributes that make he who he is. Jimmy delights in his administrative duties. His professionalism and attention to detail routinely set the pace for the field and accurately reflect Modus, our service, our commitment to our clients and our standing in the community.
Lamar serves as the Director of Business Development for Mainspring and it's operating companies. With a background in corporate management and business development. Lamar brings a history of successful business relationships to each of our companies. His knowledge of each operating company and capabilities, gives him the ability to discuss any business inquiry and to make sure we direct it to the appropriate operating company and organization.
Financial Manager / Office Manager
As Financial/Office Manager, Angela oversees many functions of Modus operations, including accounting, human resources, IT and administrative activities in the home office. She has over 25 years’ experience in Accounting and Business Management which she uses to guide and educate the admin team. Angela and her team provide needed support for clients, vendors and employees of Modus on a daily basis. Her professionalism and attention to detail routinely set the pace for the office and accurately reflect Modus, our service, our commitment to our clients and our standing in the community.
